She took a close friend's tiny kitchen and put in all these clever things that are so personalized and custom to the owners that you wouldn't even think about, like adding in-wall shoe storage at the entryway (the kitchen is right next to the front door and they are a shoes-off home, so before you were sometimes tripping over shoes to get a glass of water) and other built-ins that make their life easier.
